It's been a busy few months -
In May we went to Abu Dhabi for a few days to celebrate a friends 60th birthday. It was lovely but very hot! The hotel was fantastic and we did a jeep safari which was amazing - like a roller coaster on sand!
At the end of May, I went back to the UK to see my friends little boy who had just turned one and is to be my god son. Also popped down to Cirencester to see the family which was good.
Also in May, my niece and fiancée came to visit and we had a fab time chilling out with them.
In June another friend came over for a visit and at the beginning of August, my brother and his wife came over for a well deserved rest! It was lovely to spend time with my brother and catch up on his work and the family events (especially the big wedding next year!).
August bank holiday weekend was our friends baby's christening and I was very proud to be his god mother. The weather was good and we all had a lovely time down the pub after the service.
My friend from work fed the cats for us and when we got back, Sable was missing yest again (he was missing for 4 weeks in July!). He has now returned thank goodness - only 4 days this time! He seems to wander off and get locked in somewhere I think.
